Moto Tally Support Personnel - Hare Scrambles

Do you enjoy a fast paced environment that requires you to think quickly on your feet? Love the outdoors? This Moto Tally Support Personnel position is just for you! This person will provide support to District 23 Hare Scramble clubs and promoters during the 2022 season and beyond!

  • 1099 Contractor Position

  • Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Ability to travel throughout Minnesota & Western Wisconsin

  • Personable and enjoy working with many different personality types

  • Understanding of the hare scramble format of racing is required.

  • Previous experience using Moto Tally Timing & Scoring software is required.

  • Ability to supervise the set up of a network of computers at the track for registration, scoring, live viewing, etc. Basic knowledge of networking (wired), as well as the Windows OS is required.

  • Ability to quickly learn Moto Tally (Microsoft Access based) software and hardware configurations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Candidates should be able to use basic problem solving skills to troubleshoot sign up and scoring situations.

  • Paid the week after each event

  • Compensation: $250 per event (includes individual's gate fee & camping).

  • The number of events typically ranges from 8-10 per season.  Events take place from end of April to early October. Current schedule can be found here and select Hare Scramble from the Event Type dropdown.

Sample Weekend Schedule:
Saturday Afternoon 4-7pm: Supervise club/promoter personnel in set up of Moto Tally sign up & scoring system. Aid in testing system to ensure it is in proper working order prior to event start. Work with club/promoter sign up and scoring personnel to provide guidance on software best practices.

Sunday 7am-4:30pm: Supervise club/promoter personnel during sign up, scoring, and results throughout the race day. Provide software troubleshooting support as needed.
