What discipline(s) do you participate in?
Motocross: Open C, Schoolboy 1, 125 open
When did you begin riding and/or racing?
I started riding my pw50 when I was 4 and started racing when I was 8.
What's one thing you love about the District 23 ARMCA community?
I really enjoy the tracks D23 provides points at and all of the people are super nice!
What is the significance of your riding number? Was it given to you or did you pick it for a specific reason?
When I was little, I would always want my number to be my age so when I got my first district card, I was 7 and I really enjoyed that number for many years. Then my dad made it to Loretta Lynn’s and he changed his number to 67 and I thought that was a super cool number so I switched to 67 too.
What is your favorite track, course, trail, or event and why?
My favorite D23 track is Millville… the reason that I like that track is because the pros race on it and I like the hills.
What is the greatest accomplishment of your riding/racing career?
I think my biggest accomplishment in my racing career is winning my first every race at Millville.
Where do you see yourself in the next five years within the sport?
My biggest goal is to make it pro, but I would like to make it to Loretta Lynn Ranch too.
If you had to describe your riding style as a movie title, what would it be?
The Unknown Rider
If you could race at any track in the world, where would it be and why?
It would be sick to race at Loretta Lynn Ranch… it has been my dream ever sense I was a kid!
Who inspires you in racing or riding? And how has motorcycling impacted your life?
I look up to the pros and I try to look at how they ride the bike and their style.
What has been your favorite machine to race/ride and why?
I really like how KTM bikes feel. I have been on that chassis my whole life and they seem to hold up the best.
What's one pre-race ritual or superstition you have?
I like to look at the ruts coming out of the gate and really try and find the best one and talk to my dad on the gate where good lines are.
What's the funniest or most unexpected thing that's happened to you at a race?
For me, the most unexpected thing was when I was racing at Millville and half way through my race a big wind storm came through and a bunch of people were crashing because the wind was so strong!
What's a lesson you've learned from racing that applies to life outside the track?
You just gotta want it more then your competitors!
If you could give one piece of advice to a new rider, what would it be?
Just go and have fun and just keep training to get better.
