Location: woodbury | Ok so im putting new bars on the trx90 the stock bars have the perches welded to them. so i need to figure out what perches and levers to use to make this work. I went and got two clutch perches from bobs and of course his levers dont fit on them bike levers are to short for his hands and wont clear the throttle both levers are brake levers. Any ideas? |

Anyhooo, Put a standard clutch lever on the left hand side, the dumba$$ drum brake/brake cable should fit the clutch lever just fine. On the right hand side use this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2000-YAMAHA-YSF-200-BLASTER-FRONT-BRAKE-LEVER-ASSEMBLY_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem5190729ed0QQitemZ350315781840QQptZMotorsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
I think that should work for you....... maybe but its a good shot and pretty cheap. The blaster's are also drum brakes(older years 03- I believe) so you can use some of those parts.
We got a couple TRX90's.......... stock - full mod |

What the guy(the guy who owned it before us) did on the full mod is just eliminated the rear brake handle on the bars. There is really no need for it, unless your a little guy and you arn't to experienced yet!! For the front brakes he must have used a blaster type perch and brake lever...... on the right hand side of the bars. The left hand side is empty with just a tether, powermadd mount, and handlebar grip........ |

Or you could just buy my dad's complete quadzilla... 87 Pretty much stock (hand guards/skids/bored 1 size bigger) Needs a good tune up as it has not been ridden in a couple years. Can scare the crap out of ya. First time I rode it I got into a nice power slide and it wheelied while sliding. Fastest quad I had ridden before that was a 300EX so that was a little surpising. He is the original owner as well. He used to do a lot of trail riding many years ago. |
