District 23 Message Boards

D23 has made a change to the Classifieds and Guest forums to ensure posted threads are relevant to the Motorcycle community we represent.  Recently, there have been numerous postings from spammers and non-motorcycle related topics that we have been manually deleting. To alleviate this we will not longer allow postings to the forum with out a valid user account. Here are the 3 levels of forum privileges.

1. Guests - Read only

2. Registered users - Those that have a username and password to log into the forums. These users can read all forums but can only post in guest discussion and classifieds.

3. Authenticated users - Those that have a username and password and have provided their Name and D23 member number and been authenticated.  These users can read and post to all forums.

How to Update Your Message Board Profile:
1 “Logon” to get logged into the system.
2 Then click on “Control Panel” in the upper right of the blue main menu bar.
3 Update your “Real First/Last Name”, “District 23 Number” (4 digit number on the back of member card) and “E-Mail Address”.
4 Click on the “Submit” button in the “Edit your profile” box, below where you updated your information.

Ok so im putting new bars on the trx90 the stock bars have the perches welded to them. so i need to figure out what perches and levers to use to make this work. I went and got two clutch perches from bobs and of course his levers dont fit on them bike levers are to short for his hands and wont clear the throttle both levers are brake levers. Any ideas?

Wow, for some reason that was completely difficult to understand for me, like anything in life, pretty much everything is .

Anyhooo, Put a standard clutch lever on the left hand side, the dumba$$ drum brake/brake cable should fit the clutch lever just fine. On the right hand side use this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2000-YAMAHA-YSF-200-BLASTER-FRONT-BRAKE-LEVER-ASSEMBLY_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem5190729ed0QQitemZ350315781840QQptZMotorsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

I think that should work for you....... maybe but its a good shot and pretty cheap. The blaster's are also drum brakes(older years 03- I believe) so you can use some of those parts.

We got a couple TRX90's.......... stock - full mod

I agree, but its cheap!

What the guy(the guy who owned it before us) did on the full mod is just eliminated the rear brake handle on the bars. There is really no need for it, unless your a little guy and you arn't to experienced yet!! For the front brakes he must have used a blaster type perch and brake lever...... on the right hand side of the bars. The left hand side is empty with just a tether, powermadd mount, and handlebar grip........

Or you could just buy my dad's complete quadzilla... 87 Pretty much stock (hand guards/skids/bored 1 size bigger) Needs a good tune up as it has not been ridden in a couple years. Can scare the crap out of ya. First time I rode it I got into a nice power slide and it wheelied while sliding. Fastest quad I had ridden before that was a 300EX so that was a little surpising. He is the original owner as well. He used to do a lot of trail riding many years ago.

He has a new seat cover for it but it's not mounted. Still has stock rear grab bar and stock rear wheel/tires.

I also like that Jenna Jameson is a sponsor. That's nice.
